Feasibility Study for Ghabawi MRF Upgrade

The main aim was to develop a suitable market assessment and business model that allows the recycling company at Ghabawi (Tadwer) to be profitable in order to stay in business for the long term. This facility has been losing money on a daily basis and can no longer stay in business unless some drastic change takes place.

Activities performed:

• Study existing conditions of the Tadweer MRF at the Ghabawi site
• Study the waste stream collected by GAM and transported to Ghabawi.
• Design of required specific improvements in the MRF.
• Preparation of project procurement documents (specifications and BOQs)
