The aim was to support the development of an innovative and integrative framework for governance of the Water-Energy-Food-Environment Nexus (WEFE NEXUS) for an effective and sustainable management of resources in Jordan. It is expected that the framework will help to bring together experts from various sectors to improve coordination and collaboration and encourage knowledge exchange among institutions, consequently, result in integrated planning and policy coherence.
The development of the governance framework was presented and approved by the prime minister office and is currently a functioning unit hosted at MOPIC.
