ESIA for Air Cargo Terminal
The main project aims to develop the layout and design of the phosphate rail connecting the Aqaba port to the Shedia mines. The project includes installing new rails with a fully operational train system which is part of the overall national rail master plan in Jordan. Services of this consultation included:
- Preparation of the Project ESIA according to local and WB standards
- Preparation of Waste management plan
- Noise and vibration modeling for all receptors near the rail
- Cultural heritage impact assessment for the wadi rum national and cultural UNESCOs world heritage site
- Study and incorporate climate change and sustainability requirements into the project design.
