Mapping Decentralized WWTP in Mafraq and Jarash

The main scope of this project included provision of a comprehensive data base (systems mapping) for decentralized wastewater treatment plants and the related reuse projects in Jordan in the Agricultural sector. An incremental data base starting with Jerash and Mafraq governorates is developed.

The scope also included conduction of an evaluation study for the existing decentralized sanitation schemes and provision of climate-resilient wastewater treatment technologies. This would support defining the gaps existing in decentralized wastewater management strategies in Jordan, and accordingly, set the road map for the future demanded improvements.
